Looking back, moving forward, dancing in-between. Liminal Terrain is a dance-film experiment which draws on the in-betweenness of our embodied experiences one year into the COVID-19 pandemic. Filmed in April 2021, in lieu of a stage performance, the dance explores new terrain (cinematically and geographically) discovered through the process of being situated between two extremes. The dance seeks to navigate the ambiguity of relating to others during this moment in time, occurring in the midst of transition.
