This dance is based on conversations and movement explorations between University of Michigan-Flint dance students and members of Vista Center, a drop-in center for adults with disabilities. The dance represents the exchange of shared emotional experiences between the two groups and is based on the journey of moving from broken trust toward healing, including how it is different for everyone. Vista members contributed to the poetry that is spoken by the dancers, and original piano music was written by Vista staff member Greg Zafiroff. Collaborative visual art was created on the costume canvases and individual art works were created for exhibit in the UM-Flint theatre lobby.
